Meet Doctor Merv.
Air Quality Medical Director. Hawaiian shirt under the lab coat. Straight answers about what you’re breathing.
The idea
Air filters are about the most commoditized thing you can buy. A box on a shelf at the hardware store, thirty dollars, no relationship, no reminder, no idea whether it’s even the right one for your home. We thought that was a strange way to treat something you breathe through every day.
Why a doctor
So we gave the category a doctor. Doctor Merv turns a forgettable errand into something simpler: a clear read on your home’s air and a straight recommendation. He’s part coastal, part clinical — the Hawaiian shirt is the fresh-ocean-air promise, the lab coat and stethoscope are the part that’s actually tested and true.
What he stands for
Doctor Merv has one rule: say what we capture. Not “for pets.” Not “for allergies.” We tell you the particle, the size, and the MERV tier that catches it — sourced to EPA particle science and ASHRAE 52.2 capture testing. If a filter can’t capture what causes your problem, he’ll tell you that too.
“We’re not interested in the technicality. We care about the actual quality of your air.”
The best air your family deserves.
